The role of multiwavelength sky surveys in AGN research Given the broad-band emission of AGN, it is clear that multiwavelength sky surveys are extremely important to further our understanding of AGN physics, at a zero order simply by providing more data for more AGN.   X-ray surveys appear to have excellent, although not perfect, completeness when compared to other multiwavelength methods for finding AGN. Our focus will be on Chandra results from the past decade, as befits this 10th birthday symposium for Chandra, implicitly also recognizing the fundamental advances made by extragalactic surveys with XMM-Newton. I am currently the senior graduate student advisor of the Astronomy Gentleladies' Network (AGN), a mentoring program connecting graduate and undergraduate women in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Maryland as part of the Equity Constellation chapter of the Access Network.
